A poetic customer feedback for the Duet15 Horn

Its 3am. I couldn’t sleep. I was hearing music, peak listening.

The music is so vivid i feel a pulse from the musicians instruments to my spine. And the hair on my skin is on point, the sound stage becomes so vast and encompassing, recordings of Yo Yo Ma playing Japanese melodies is sublime in the darkness at four am, a music listening session i haven’t partaken in since my early twenties, when escaping the world in the solitude of the night and a wave of music.

There is a singular awareness to each pluck of the strings of the kora, each echo of the harpsichord. At now four thirty the birds begin to echo through my open windows all around me.

Corpus Cristi, on the day of the American pope, by Buckley, joins the birds through the windows.

The singular voice in the darkness is ecstasy

The flute, the cello, the harpsichord, again as yo yo ma Japanese melodies shuffles back to me, is caught and suspended in the darkness of my room. The upper chords of the harpsichord set behind the cello and the flute, i can hear the room’s back wall from the recording, the width of the harp seems with me in the room. The gasp of the flutist, the presence and the space is astonishing.

Jordon Savall Hesperian Instrumental Dance…. Percussion with the horns seems like a freshly polished mirror, every depth of each strike, i can hear even the meat of the hand on the instrument…

Julia Holter Meyou… so present i become aware of a new language,, the singers emerge in my room like the birds in this forrested city.

The screeches the throat singers the scrapes the contortions of the throat and compression of the wind pipe.

These things (Duet 15 Horns!) are instruments, portals into the world, timeless and space not bound.

It is incredible to be able to provoke such vivid and immensely rich experiences. These things truly transport the soul.

Dominique Fils Aime Where there is smoke…. A masterful recording and enchanting composition. Eyes closed in the darkness, a full collage of space and voice and percussion, hands and throats and lips and tongues. It’s a completely sensual experience. The growl of the digeredo.

It’s now five, and Jordi savall surfi dance’s flute flutters in his chapel, resonant like Meredith monk’s early morning melody resonant on the stone of her stage.

I open a california cab…

The deep percussion stomps.

Mozart Requiem. Strings hunting the tenors.

Old friends by Simon and Garfunkel.

Don’t answer the door bb king.

I munch on the endives grilled and coated in olive oil and balsamic vinegar, crunch to bb king, and its all the senses. I munch. I go pee. I sneak around in the darkness and jump back on my chair before these speakers, and it’s the only place in the world right now.

Lilac wine. Every intimate shape of the mouth.

Julie Cruze flirts with the horns, literally sirens and the brush on the snare.

I crash in bed. These instruments truly transport the soul, delivering us to a hundred thousand of the most thrilling sonic happenings.

Thank you!!!!!
