Baffles to Frame

  • The baffles are mounted to the side brackets using six M6 flat-head bolts, secured with thumb nuts at the back of the side brackets, with rubber decouplers placed between the metal side walls and the baffles.
  • The rubber decouplers we currently provide have adhesive on one side and should be carefully aligned and glued over the four holes for every baffle, on the front of the side walls. After they are attached, the four bolts on the baffles will pass through the decouplers and the holes in the side walls.
  • We recommend first carefully positioning the baffle on the side brackets using only two bolts (bottom right and top left), and tightening them lightly to prevent the baffle from falling out of the side brackets.
  • Thereafter, insert the remaining four bolts into the holes in the baffle, through the rubber decouplers, and into the holes in the side brackets
  • Once all four bolts are properly in place, tighten the thumb nuts as firmly as possible by hand.
  • If you feel the need to use a wrench, do not over-tighten the bolts. The rubber decouplers should be only modestly compressed to ensure proper sonic performance of the speakers.
