Since its release in 2015, Horn1 earned a reputation for the sonic strengths horns are known for, but with a smooth, realistic character and none of the typical horn harshness.

Given the growing popularity of our lineup, we decided to integrate Horn1 across the Duet15, Trio15, and Quintet15 — and we’re glad we did.

Once the final design and crossover voicing were locked in for each model, we couldn’t give this pairing up. The emotional involvement with Horn1 is in a league of its own. It’s hard to describe how real a trumpet, saxophone, or piano can sound. Vocals and instruments come to life in the room, right in front of you. It’s a stunning performer with Jazz, and electronic music hits with unprecedented depth; rock feels like a live event; world music, vocals, and chamber music all carry a breathtaking sense of realism.

This configuration may reach its limit with extremely dense passages or large-scale orchestral works. But if that’s the compromise, what Horn1 does with Jazz, acoustic, rock, electronic, and chamber music may make it your favorite configuration yet — across the Duet15, Trio15, or Quintet15.
