Quartet15 was born from our aim to create a speaker that brings together 14 years of experience in open-baffle, along with audio components that align with our approach and have proven themselves in our other models.

We were looking for a way to give the speaker a sound close to our Quintet15, with a real-life sense of presence and a wall-of-sound presentation, while its size remains a natural fit for different listening spaces.

All drivers in the Quartet15 are paper-cone drivers, sharing a common sonic signature and the same tonality from one driver to another. This sonic consistency allows instruments and vocals to come through as if from a large single source, sounding organic, complete and true to life.

15″ Woofers

These proprietary, audiophile-grade, high-resolution 15″ woofers were designed collaboration with Eminence, specifically for PureAudioProject.

These woofers are exceptionally lightweight and fast for their size. They deliver not only deep, powerful bass but also a rich, full-bodied midrange. Their versatility allows them to integrate seamlessly with our mid and high frequency drivers used in the Quartet15, ensuring a cohesive, dynamic, and highly detailed music experience.

10″ Mid Woofer

Quartet15 features our custom 10″ woofer, the same 10″ woofer used in our Coax10 driver across all Line15 models, from the Duet15 to the Quintet15.

Because both the 15″ woofer and the 5″ Voxativ driver are wide-range drivers, the mid-woofer is relieved from operating close to its limits, allowing for an effortless and extremely linear sonic presentation.

5″ Wide-Range Tweeter

For the Quartet15 tweeter, we implemented the Voxativ 5-inch neodymium full-range driver.

Voxativ drivers are considered a gold standard in their class, and this specific model, the AF-2.6, reproduces the upper frequencies with natural ease, full body and beautiful sonic finesse, allowing instruments to come through as rich, highly realistic and lifelike.

Crossover

Quartet15 features our modular “Thrier” crossover in its full configuration, a pure first-order three-way design.

All capacitors are Mundorf MCAP EVO Silver Gold Oil grade, and all components reside on golden screw terminals, allowing the option to swap them and experiment with different brands, types and even values, for the best match to your personal sonic taste and favorite audio gear.

Baffles

Due to our modular design, the variety of baffles spans from colored high-quality MDF and the unique Valchromat HDF (with color embedded into the sheets), to three-layer bamboo or three-layer solid American walnut, oak or maple.

SHIPPING & ASSEMBLY

TheDuet15 open-baffle speakers are shipped flat packed in a disassembled form.

Assembly is simple. The only tools needed are an Allen key (for the speakers) and a screwdriver (for the crossover). Many PAP owners describe the assembly process as extremely satisfying. Getting to set up their own speakers creates an intimate relationship with them.

All components are made in either the USA or in the EU, sold and shipped directly to our customers.
