Trio15 Coax10, AXPONA 2025 Set

Came home from AXPONA 2026 and fired up the stereo, Totally affirmed my purchase of PAP Trio 15 Coaxial was the right one for me. My PureAudioProject system sounded far better than most rooms at the show, recognizing the show room limitations. Musicality-wise, It is all there, in correct proportions and each track has it’s own unique nuances in a non-fatiguing fashion. I can listen on end for hours and each new track continues to sounds fresh.
Began replicating some show listening scenarios and a couple of tracks really had me grinning. Blind Faith, Do What You Like. I could “see” Stevie Winwood moving in front of mic with my eyes open, didn’t even have to close my eyes, He was just there in the room. Organ came in, the vibrato, Just wow. I could see Clapton’s bends and slides, Rick Gretch’s bass sounded like it was plugged into my Fender twin, Ginger Baker’s drum solo, I could totally spatially visualize the double bass drums, toms, high hat and crash cymbals. I was grinning ear-to-ear, even before I cracked a post-show IPA.
I have always loved Stevie Ray Vaughn’s Tin Pan Alley. That is, Until I heard it playing in at least 5 rooms at the show. So I put it on and was just taken back how it sounded on the PAPs. I just started uncontrollably laughing as I could see SRV hands working the fretboard in front of the PAPs.
I just kept continuing to listen to my Trio Coax’s for over 3 hours and that is after a day of “listening bombardment” at AXPONA.
Looking forward to another year of enjoying my PureAudioProject speakers and upgrading the x-over to drivers wiring to Silversmith Fidelium.
